Sona Incubation Foundation (SIF) has been established as a section 8 company non-profit organization. SIF will act as a "One-Stop Shop – Business Incubator" for innovators and start-ups. SIF encourages and facilitates an entrepreneurial and innovative eco-system for all the stakeholders, including the innovators, student community, faculty, and society at large.

SIF is under the ambit of the Sona group of institutions, Salem, Tamil Nadu. SIF is presently focusing on disruptive technologies like wearable technology, industry 4.0, deep tech & fashion technology. SIF has a 15,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility for start-ups and innovators.

SIF is a business innovation and incubation centre that supports innovative ideas. Since, there is a need for technology growth and knowledge-based industries in today’s world. SIF provides a platform for technology development and innovation for innovative minds to convert their ideas and start their own businesses. SIF provides the necessary support to help entrepreneurs survive in the competitive market and reach a stage where they can scale-up their ventures further through infrastructure, technical assistance, fund raising, networking opportunities, legal counselling, marketing assistance, IPRs, and etc.

SIF aims to guide and encourage all the innovative ideas, whether for a product, service, equipment, novel application, business model, technique, or tool, through the process of mentoring, funding, networking, and leveraging platforms that yield the stated results.

With the formation of SIF, we intend to organise business plan competitions, innovation camps, and entrepreneurship with the active participation of industries, in order for incubates to develop their skills and upgrade their ideas to new technologies. Start-ups will be guided and assisted on various aspects such as preparing project reports, obtaining project approvals, technical support from industrialists and loans, etc. under SIF.
